Mammillaria karwinskiana ssp. nejapensis
Posted by Stuart under: Cacti .
Second set of flowers for the year!
I do think that this Mammillaria species is tremendously good-looking; it’s a super woolly jumper of a plant, and one of my favourites.

I recently wrote about the unattractivenss of my Mammillaria karwinskiana ssp. nejapensis in flower. Yours looks a lot better than mine!

I think I’d still agree with you regarding the flowers; if the plant had any sense it would produce flowers that contrasted a bit better with all that wool! But I’ll forgive it rubbish flowers for its overall handsome appearance.
