Mesemb progress

The various species of Titanopsis I’m growing are at very different stages. The first two, Titanopsis primosii and T. hugo-schlechteri were sown at the same time, and the latter was slower to germinate by over a week. On the right are the seedlings of T. fulleri, sown a couple of weeks before the others. As you can see, two plants are already well on their way to producing their second pairs of true leaves.

Following advice from Ian I’ve now moved these out from under the artificial lighting and into the greenhouse along with the Pleiospilos and Ectotropis alpina seedlings shown below.

The Conophytums and Lithops seedlings are staying under the lights for now. As you can see below, at the moment the Conophytum limpidum ‘Bright Eyes’ (from the MSG seed list) on the right are much larger than the Lithops julii ssp fulleri on the left, but I have a feeling that it won’t be all that long before the Lithops overtake them as they’re a good few weeks younger than the conos.
