Good Friday flowers and buds
Posted by Stuart under: Cacti .
Left to right:
Echinocereus viridiflorus, from seed sown in 2006, obtained from Doug and Vivi Rowland. As I’ve mentioned previously, this is the first plant I’ve grown successfully from seed to maturity.
Blossfeldia liliputana “Subterranea” – the grafted plant which has been gearing up to flower all winter, now on the brink of finally opening a bud.
Turbinicarpus krainzianus – one of the smaller-flowered members of the genus, but with delightfully delicate flowers.
Vlokia ater – I couldn’t resist photographing this plant again, as it’s still going strong.
