Today’s flowers

The Turbinicarpus valdezianus and Vlokia ater pictured in the previous post are now in full flower, as is the Stomatium alboroseum shown on the right:

I’ve looked for years for the Turbinicarpus valdezianus, and have never found it at any of the nurseries around here–and I live in Arizona! I’m envious. I can’t even find seed. Beautiful photo.

You might want to try mesagarden.com for seed: Steven Brack has seed from several different sources for Turb valdezianus.
