Blossfeldia update

I’m delighted to say that not only is my large Blossfeldia liliputana ’subterranea’ not far off opening about a dozen flowers, but also one of my B. liliputana plants on its own roots (originally from the Atomic Plant Nursery in Germany and about half an inch across) has the beginnings of a flower bud just visible. It’s too small to photograph convincingly at the moment, so this image from last year will have to do for now…
