Garden centre rescue
Posted by Stuart under: Cacti .
I liberated this rather nice juvenile Melocactus from a local garden centre last weekend, reasoning that unless I did so, it would surely perish.
That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it.
It’s about 4 1/2″ across including spines, and it’s likely to be a plant of Melocactus salvadorensis (thanks to Marlon Machado for identifying it on the BCSS forum).
