Seedling update – Astros and Frailea
Posted by Stuart under: Cacti; Propagation .
Nearly six weeks after sowing, my pot of Astrophytum myriostigma is showing encouraging progress.
All the plants are now starting to look like miniature versions of the adults now, and they’re not all that tiny any more – the largest is easily 3/8″ in width.
For those of you who prefer metric measurements – sorry, I don’t…
Also doing well are the Frailea angelesiae seedlings.
Those that didn’t damp off in the initial wave of casualties are gorwing very rapidly indeed. This little chap is the most advanced.
