Seedlings
Posted by Stuart under: Cacti .
Germination is going well at the moment. I’ve had 100% success with a pot of Mammillaria infernalensis, and good showings from various Astrophytum species, Epiphyllum anguliger, Frailea angelesii, and Turbinicarpus pseudomacrochele. The sole Gasteria I thought had come up disappeared, and there’s no activity at all in my pots of Setiechinopsis seed.
Best of all at the moment are these Turbinicarpus polaskii seedlings, from my own seed. For scale, these are in a 2″ pot.
As you can see, many of them have a good number of juvenile spines already. Not bad for just 22 days’ growth.
