What didn’t happen this year

This chap didn’t bother to flower at all this autumn, so this is a photo from October 2006; as with everything else that was affected by poor light levels, the Ariocarpus didn’t really get into the swing of things this year.
I’ve had this plant of Ariocarpus kotschoubeyanus for three years, in which time it has probably increased by about 3/8″ in diameter.
