Last year’s seedlings
Posted by Stuart under: Cacti; Propagation .
Another “retrospective” addition to this blog (I’ll be adding a few of these simply to give this website a bit of initial impetus): these Echinocactus grusonii seedlings were sown in spring 2006 and neglected a little, so they haven’t put on as much growth as they might have done. They’re pictured here on the 2nd of September 2007, at about 17-18 months old, a couple of months after pricking out into their current home.
I have no idea what I’m going to do with them all - in essence I only grew them as I knew them to be easy from seed and wanted to get my hand in again!
